KT2580 Functionality
The KIRK DECT Application Module, KT2580, is to be built into units of various kinds and communicates via a standard KIRK DECT infrastructure, where the module can run as portable part (PP) just like any other normal DECT handset.

The infrastructure can be used for wireless telephony and data transmission at the same time. The KIRK DECT Application Module provides the possibility of transferring smaller amounts of data in the shape of MSF (Message Service Function) between the relevant units.

Supported features via AT commands include:
- Establish a wireless connection
- Discontinue a wireless connection
- Send an MSF (Message Service Function) data message
- Receive an MSF (Message Service Function) data message
- Automatic registration of module onto system
